Carl was born and bred around the local area of Ripley, Derbyshire. He was a loveable character all throughout his childhood and through into his adult life.

He always loved a beer, nature and the outdoors. His passion for country pursuits took him all around the world, visiting Canada, New Zealand, most places in Europe and a couple of trips to America (albeit if one was to smuggle himself across the Canadian border!).

Carl leaves behind a sister, 4 children, 2 grandchildren and countless friends and other family. Also his 3 dogs were one of his main passions day to day and if you see them you would know straight away he put a lot of time into them.
